«Ұлт мұрасы – домбыра», dedicated to National Dombra Day, the 180th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh akyn Zh. Zhabayev, and the 165th anniversary of the renowned kui composer D. Nurpeisova, was held

The KSU "Center for the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage" held the «Ұлт мұрасы – домбыра» campaign at the "Dombra" small architectural form to commemorate the National Dombra Day, the 180th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh akyn Zhambyl Zhabayev, and the 165th anniversary of the renowned kui composer Dina Nurpeisova. Students of Arna Higher College in Kokshetau took part in the event.

During the campaign, participants learned about the history of the dombra as one of the main symbols of Kazakh national culture, as well as the life and creative legacy of Zhambyl Zhabayev and Dina Nurpeisova. They were also introduced to the history behind the creation and significance of their famous kuis.

The purpose of the event was to increase young people's interest in the national musical heritage, foster respect for the traditions of the Kazakh people, promote the art of dombra performance, and preserve the country's cultural values.
