The action

On November 28, 2025, a commemorative event "Shokan Ualikhanov – gylym men rukhaniyattyn shamshyragy" was held in Kokshetau, dedicated to the 190th anniversary of the birth of Shokan Ualikhanov, an outstanding Kazakh scientist, ethnographer, historian, educator and public figure. The event took place at the monument of national significance - the monument to Shokan Ualikhanov, created by sculptor T. S. Dosmagambetov and architect K. A. Abdikov, installed in 1971 at the intersection of M. Auezov-M. streets. Sagdiyeva and an evening meeting with representatives of the PA "Shokan Zholdary", held at the site of the Museum of Literature and Art.

The main purpose of the campaign is to pay tribute to the great scientist, to emphasize the importance of his scientific and spiritual heritage, as well as to strengthen the interest of young people in the historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.

The participants of the action - representatives of government agencies, the scientific and educational community, public figures and students of Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov - honored the memory of the great scientist and emphasized the importance of his scientific and spiritual heritage.
