On April 15, 2025, as part of the celebration of the International Day of Monuments and Historical Sites, a history lesson "Historical and cultural heritage of the Akmola region

The MSI "Center for the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage" of the Department of Culture of the Akmola region held a history lesson on the topic "Akmola oblysyn tarikhi-madeni murasi" for 6th grade students of secondary school No. 4 in Kokshetau. During the lesson, some information about the monuments of the Akmola region was presented. There are 1,780 monuments of historical and cultural heritage in the Akmola region, including 6 monuments of national significance, 1,037 monuments of local significance, 737 monuments with preliminary registration and 47 sacred sites. The main purpose of the lesson was to expand students' knowledge of the rich cultural heritage of their native land, develop patriotism and respect for the historical heritage of Kazakhstan, protect and preserve the historical and cultural heritage.
