On April 11, 2025, a regular meeting of the Commission for the protection of historical and cultural monuments of the Akmola region was held
The list of the commission has been updated with new names: Akhetova A.K., public figure, publicist, teacher; Kolpakova A.D., Head of Language Development and Onomastics at the Department of Internal Policy of the Akmola region. The meeting discussed issues related to the installation of memorial plaques and the inclusion of the names of participants in the Great Patriotic War on additional slabs at monuments and obelisks.
