"Nauryz - Ulystyn Uly kuni" a history lesson for the celebration of Nauryz was held at Kokshetau University named after A. Myrzakhmetov.
The MSI "Center for the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage" of the Department of Culture of the Akmola region held a history lesson "Nauryz-Ulystyn Uly kuni" for students of the Historical faculty of Kokshetau University named after A. Myrzakhmetov. During the lesson, students were told about the history, meaning and significance of the Nauryz holiday, customs and traditions, national clothes, cooking of national dishes, including "Nauryz kozhe". Nauryz is an ancient holiday of the Kazakh people. Nauryz is the time of spring, equinox and awakening of Mother Nature. Nauryz means "New Day" in Persian. The Kazakh people also call this day "Ulystyn uly kuni" in translation, "The Great Day of the ulus."
