In order to study the sacred and historical sites of the Burabai district, the KSU "Center for the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage" of the Department of Culture of the Akmola region began security and rescue operations and archaeological research at newly identified sites as a result of summer exploration work at the burial ground "Saka Sanctuary Abakai". The archaeological expedition, which takes place during October this year, is headed by the scientific supervisor, PhD doctor of the L.N.Gumilyov ENU, archaeologist - Tleugabylov Daniyar Tulegenovich, as well as undergraduates and students of this university take part in it. As a result of the research, mustachioed burials and fallen stone menhirs will be restored.
