The action "Dombra kuni-ulttyn uni" was held, dedicated to the National Day of Dombra with the participation of students of the KU named after Sh. Ualikhanov. National Dombra Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of July since 2018, as the day of the Kazakh original instrument.

Dombra is one of the most common plucking tools on earth. Art historians and historians claim that such tools have been known in science since the tenth century. For the Kazakh people, dombra is not only a national instrument, but also the soul and blood of the Kazakhs.
