A regular meeting of the Commission for the protection and use of the historical and cultural heritage of the Akmola region was held

On April 5, 2024, a regular meeting of the commission for the protection and use of the historical and cultural heritage of the Akmola region was held, issues were considered on the introduction of historical and cultural heritage monuments into the preliminary register: the burial place of Torpak Bi (located in the Tselinograd district, village of Shnet); the inclusion of 32 sacred objects of the Akmola region. The issue of restoration of the monument to Shokan Ualikhanov (Kokshetau) was discussed. Proposals were made to conduct research to identify new sacred sites in the Akmola region in order to preserve historical and cultural heritage, strengthen national identity.
