Conducting a quiz "Ana - omir shuagi" with students of Kokshetau Higher Medical College

KSU "Center for the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage" of the Department of Culture of the Akmola region held a quiz "Ana-omir shuagi" with 1st year students of the Kokshetau Higher Medical College as part of the celebration of International Women's Day on March 8. During the quiz, questions were asked related to historical monuments dedicated to women, mothers and historical events, and personalities, such as Aktokty, Balkadisha, Kanykey, the sculpture "Ananyn ak tilegi", the bust of Manshuk Mametova, Maria Rekina, Ores Khanym, Polina Osipenko. Photos and additional explanations were shown for each of the historical monuments mentioned in the quiz. Following the results of the event, the most active students were awarded books about the sacred monuments of the Akmola region. The purpose of the event is to popularize the moral exploits of mothers and heroines, patriotism, love for the country and native land.
