"Kazakh adebiyetinin ak sunkary" history lesson for the 130th anniversary of Saken Seifullin

KSU "Center for the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage" of the Department of Culture of the Akmola region held a history lesson on the topic "Kazakh adebiyetin ak sunkary" for students of the Higher Technical College of Kokshetau on the 130th anniversary of Saken Seifullin, the founder of Kazakh Soviet literature, poet, prominent statesman and public figure, victim of the totalitarian system. During the lecture, the biography and work of the poet were highlighted, the name of Saken Seifullin is very dear to the residents of Akmola. In his poem "Kokshetau" he praised the unique nature of Burabai. Saken stood at the origins of the Kazakh periodical press. With his participation, the newspaper "Tirshilik" appeared, which continues to be published in the region under the name "Arka Azhary" in 2017, a memorial plaque with the name of S. Seifullin was installed on the building of this newspaper. His son Ayan is buried in the Muslim cemetery in Kokshetau, where a memorial stone is installed. Saken's name, his work and activities will forever remain in the hearts of people!
