Historical and local history evening "Zher toresi, zhyr yerkesi-Kokshetau" by the project "Tarikhyndy tany"

Specialists of the KSU "Center for the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage" of the Department of Culture of the Akmola region together with the Centralized Library System at the Department of Culture, Language Development, Physical Culture and Sports of the Burabai district held a local history evening "Zher toresi, zhyr yerkesi-Kokshetau".  The event was held on the basis of the Shchuchinsk City Library and is dedicated to the main events of this year, the 200th anniversary of the city of Shchuchinsk.Kokshetau, the 85th anniversary of the Akmola region and the 25th anniversary of the monument to Abylai Khan in Kokshetau.

The lecture was held for students of the Shchuchinsk Pedagogical College, an exhibition on sacred sites of the Akmola region was also organized, archaeological artifacts found in 2022 in the Burabay and Zerendinsky districts during the protection and rescue operations conducted by the Center for the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage and Books were demonstrated.  Slides and videos about sacred objects were shown.

The local history evening "Zher Toresi, Zhyr Yerkesi-Kokshetau" inspires young people to learn about their native land, respect for history and preservation of spiritual and cultural heritage, allowed them to learn valuable and interesting facts. Students Keulimzhai Zh., Kudaibergen A. performed poems dedicated to Kokshetau and Abylai Khan. Ramazanova N.K., director of the Central Library of the Burabay district, noted the work of libraries, shared ongoing projects and plans for the future.
