History lesson "Wrestler of the Kazakh steppe".

Baluan Sholak (real name — Nurmagambet Baymyrzauly (1864-1919) was a Kazakh folk akyn singer and composer, a famous wrestler. At a young age, he was nicknamed Baluan Sholak, a fingerless wrestler, as he was very strong and did not have the fingers of his right hand, having frostbitten them in childhood.

The Center for the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the KMM Department of Culture of the Akmola regional held a history lesson "Kazakh dalasyn paluany" dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the wrestler Sholak for students of grades 8, 9, 10 of Kokshetau secondary school No. 7. The students got acquainted with the biography of Baluan Sholak, as well as about the monuments dedicated to Baluan Sholak erected in the Akmola region.

The purpose of the history lesson is to expand students' knowledge about the life and work of Baluan Sholak. It is believed that this great man is our countryman, and this causes a sense of pride and a sense of patriotism through the monuments erected to the owner of such a great power.
