The burial place of Ores khanim
It is known from the letter of Sh. Ualikhanov that Abylai Khan had 12 wives. Among them were Karakalpak, Uzbek, Kalmyk and Kyrgyz. But Abylai Khan showed a special attitude towards Ores khanim. When going on another military campaign, Abylai Khan always took Ores khanim with him.
The writer and scientist Zhaiyk Bekturov writes in his writings: "From the memoirs of the older generation of the village of Uryupinka: "One day Abylai Khan, heading to Turkestan with his soldiers, orders to stop at the Talkara River, located in the Dongelekkau area. There is a large road next to the village. People sometimes call it Khan Abylai's road.
According to legend, before proceeding further, Abylai Khan orders to summon the shaman Shaiki-burki. To the khan's question: "What awaits me in the future?" he replied to him: "Oh, great Khan! Your beloved wife will soon die, you must bury her here in this place." But the khan did not listen to his words and set out on this road. However, before walking 20 km, Ores khanim dies. Then the khan remembers the words of the healer, returns to the place and buries her in the place that the shaman pointed out to him. Since then, this place has been called "Khanim suyegi" (the remains of the hansha)."
Ores khanim was buried in the west of the village of Uryupinka in the Akkol district.
